RE: Slider 5th Wheel or not?

I agree with rob85546 I have a shortbed w/o a slider and I can get mine at a 90 degree without hitting. besides you ever see what it does to tires as you scrub them while jacknifing. here in kansas I have not found a campsite that would require cranking it that tight to get in. Now granted im only pulling a 31 foot fiver. so go on and flame me now

RE: Mud Flaps

I made mine from aluminum stock that went from driver to passenger side that slid into my receiver , and I took mud flaps from a semi and cut them shorter and bolted them to aluminum rail. One word of advice when you go to measure the proper height of the mudflap make sure you hook up to the camper so that you account for the sag in the springs. I ran over a smashed beer can and drug it for 1/2 mile. god awful noise. went home and shortened them 2 inches I learned the hard way I had 10 dollars in the set up

RE: King of the Road Furniture

www.rvfurniture.com. they make furniture for rv's for most brands, the only reason I know this is because I deliver to them and see all the neat stuff. like the coffe table that lifts up to eat off of it

RE: buying ettiquette

by the way it took 4 trips over 3 days and 6 phone calls before they said yes. I wrote down what I wanted on a piece of paper and my cell and told them I was going to the next town to look a cardinal and they started laughing at what I wanted as I walked out the door. they called me 20 mins later wanting to talk so more. I got what I wanted, but I let them know was serious about another brand because I brought that brochure with me to compare. I hope this helps

RE: buying ettiquette

When we bought our fifthwheel we got them down so far before they started screaming, so out came plan B. I went after the freebee's, like vent covers. wired for satelite. two $150 dollar lawn chair recliners. countertop extension mounted by the sink. As for batterys mine came with a 12 v deep cycle and two full tanks of propane, as well as the sewer hose and tp and tank chemical. Make them bleed before you sign

RE: Bumper Hitch

Make sure you get a good firm mount onto the frame , because if you attach to the bumper it could fall off
